Targeted Ukrainian drone strikes have hit Russian oil infrastructure, putting all major Lukoil refineries offline. Russia is unable to process or export oil as refineries are unable to process it following the Ukrainian strikes. The situation has left Russia desperately scrambling to source oil imports. In addition, the offensive against Russian oil infrastructure sparked petrol panic across Central Asia.
Russia carried out major overnight missile and drone attacks targeting nine Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv. The Russian strikes targeted Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities, leaving several people wounded.
