Local officers apprehended a man from Kippens after a theft at a liquor store in Stephenville. Officers took the man into custody and located a knife on him when he was patted down during the arrest.

The Kippens resident is now facing over 40 outstanding charges on top of new charges related to the liquor store theft in Stephenville. Officers discovered the knife on the suspect while making the arrest. The man is scheduled for court appearances for the recent theft along with his more than 40 pre-existing outstanding charges.
