Karl Ravech was shown the door by ESPN. He continues to call the Little League World Series. He retained that assignment even after the layoff. After he departed the network, he discussed his time in the booth and brought up stories from past games he called over the years.

During a Brewers-Braves game, Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Garrett Mitchell sent Ravech off with respect. Fans now are demanding a difference. They are pushing for the Little League World Series to make an announcer change after his booth comments and the farewell from Mitchell.
