Isolated storms are forming across Central Texas on Thursday, Aug. 27. Parts of the Austin area may get some rain. KXAN and FOX 7 Austin both highlighted the chance of wet weather. The storms are scattered and could send showers to any local area.
Later Thursday night, skies could clear enough for residents to view a lunar eclipse. The blood moon will be on display if conditions hold. The eclipse is due after the rain. Residents who plan to watch it should watch for clearing skies. The weather and the eclipse are both sharing one night.
