Rahm Emanuel, former Chicago mayor and ex-US ambassador to Japan, has declared the country is prepared to elect its first Jewish president. Addressing the issue openly, Emanuel took on his critics, telling them: "my faith is not your problem."
Emanuel also hit out at anti-Israel Democrats, saying they lack any coherent foreign policy plan. His words have caught notice as the first whispers about the 2028 presidential race begins to circulate.
