HBO Max has axed American Blue, a police procedural pilot starring Milo Ventimiglia. The pilot will not advance at HBO Max after being turned down by the platform. The cop drama pilot is now being shopped to other buyers.
Variety reported the decision regarding the pilot. Forbes called the rejected project as a series similar to The Pitt. Although the Milo Ventimiglia project is not moving forward at HBO Max, it is now being offered to other buyers.
