Taaffe started at safety with Zayne Anderson. Dante Trader Jr. was not part of the starting safety duo. The interception happened on the drive that opened the half. It gave Miami the ball to start the half. Kirk Cousins later threw his third touchdown. That put them up 24-13 on the scoreboard. Taaffe's takeaway stood as the rookie's maiden NFL interception of the game.
