In Piddington village, residents organised a referendum and chose to leave the UK due to an asylum centre proposal. Lisa Nandy reacted to the vote. She said the government will listen to the residents and consider their concerns.
The government announced additional 42 Young Futures Hubs across England. These hubs support young people with challenges in life and offer guidance. Four hubs will be in Greater Manchester, following a pilot locally. New hubs are expected for Lancashire, Blackpool, and the North East under the expansion plan.
