The well-known Festival d'Été de Québec closed with impressive numbers. Big acts played various stages on Grande-Allée and inside Parc de la Francophonie. Organisers counted more number of visitors than ever before. Opening night had a few issues that risked becoming a larger problem. Heavy rain caused delays on several days. Still, locals kept turning out despite the mess . A brief check after the event showed most people were pleased with how it ran, even with the minor hiccups.
