Ed Harris complained initially about his limited part in the series in Dutton Ranch, the Yellowstone spin-off. He thought the role was useless and wanted to leave. Harris told Variety, 'with frustration Get me the f- out of here' as he exited the set. He later decided to return for Season 2 to return for Season 2. The show’s boss tweaked the narrative and gave his character additional depth. That change made Harris opt to stay. Deadline now says he will return to the part.
