Día de los Muertos is being observed across the U.S. Events are happening in Los Angeles, Seattle, Las Cruces, and Pittsburgh. Mexico is also celebrating. Families create altars with photos, lights, and sacred scents. Different customs honor different spirits each day. These gatherings are to remember to family members who have departed.
