Daniel Tupou has retired from the NRL just days after the Sydney Roosters lifted the premiership trophy. The winger walks away as a four-time premiership winner, all earned with the Roosters, having never worn a different club's jersey.
The Roosters said they were "lost for words" at his departure. Tupou's whole playing life was spent in red, white and blue, making him one of the most committed one-club figures in the competition's modern era.
