He spent Sunday night in the ICU after doctors finished the job.

Goldson wrote a brief post just after midnight to say he's holding steady.

This was the second time in recent months he has needed major surgery.

The player has now left hospital and is recovering at his house with his family close by.

Medical staff have him under watch while he heals.
